Good deal...what are the settings on it? Is it on the fly? Never used a banks...

skinnysfd 10-22-2009 09:52 PM

it has six settings and yes it is switch on the fly. it is not a wild programmer though but it will gain you some hp and torque, but i would also recommend pyro, boost, and rail pressure gauge too. pm sent

Can't send f'n pms yet....too new...

It's a 2005 3500. I had a ford ps for a while and just went to a dodge. I had gauges, intake, exhaust, and programmer on my last one. I don't have any gauges yet, but wondering if it matters....I normally don't set it on any of the high settings. Normally just drive around with it in a tow or economy setting (40hp or 60 hp). Trying to get some exhaust for this one, too...what do you think?

skinnysfd 10-23-2009 08:37 AM

like i said it is a decent entry level programmer. I had it when i first got the truck and i also went to a 4" turbo straight piped exhaust( really loud but cool sound) i think you would be ok for a bit but gauges are a must when you start adding power.

As a general rule as long as u keep it at 80 additional hp or less youll be ok without gauges, anyhing more you definitely need gauges and if u have a stock auto use with caution
