The MP-8 is a pressure box, that allows you to adjust your rail pressure. At max setting, you're still within safe limits, and gain upwards of 100 horsepower and 200 lb.ft. at the wheels, and a couple of miles per gallon. It piggybacks on your rail pressure sensor, so no alterations are made to your ecm.
