compatible with an o5 dodge auto ?

according to the amsoil site they cross the universal synthetic transmission fluid not the torque drive. Contact Heath and he can quote you a price on the universal stuff for your truck

Could it work??? maybe, but it does not mee the specs of ATF+, which is the chrysler spec. I probably wouldn't put it in the dodge trucks to be safe.
For you Duramax guys who have considered using it, this is a steal..it won't last long:) |
Two questions: Is this still available and what is the advantage of running this?
|
Available??
Advantage-Synthetics are becoming the favored lubricants in the drive train these days and many come from the factory in them(tranny and/or diffs). There is less drag with synthetics(better flow) and you can increase fuel mileage. The the better flow comes better heat transfer and everything runs cooler. Cooling running leads to longer life. You can also run these longer. |
Thanks Heath. I did a little research after posting. Seems to be quite a debate about whether it's worth it or not. I figured if was still available I might give it a shot. :humm:

your truck comes factory with synthetic and I believe you can get the torque drive for less than the factory stuff.
