Wondering If Anyone's Interested In My '06 CTD...

2 Attachment(s)
I had a baby in March and I have come to realize that my CTD isn't the best family rig.

I thought about stripping the accessories and trading it, but I thought I'd see if anyone out in Bomber land was interested in buying it.

My signauture tells about it... The worst thing that's wrong with it is that the seats have a few stains. I'd be willing to have them professionally cleaned if someone was interested! The fabric in the '06s is less than great...

I have a ball-park idea in my head what I think it's worth, but I just wanted to see if anyone is interested.

It has amost 38,000 miles on it now. The bed and rocker panels are spray lined. The tires have 11k.

I've treated it like my kid. I hate to even think about getting rid of it, but I'm tired of having to plan things around being able to haul stuff in the back...

Let me know if you have any questions!

Congrats on the new little one Meg!

Throw a campershell on the back of it and these trucks make excellent family vehicles. I have 4 little ones, 14, 9, 2, & 3months and we all pile in my truck. When we take trips, were glad were have it @ times.

Well, I'm thinking somewhere between 24,000 and 26,000. I do have someone interested!

The stains are Dr. Pepper and water! LOL! Everything stains the seats -- drives me nuts!

It is a nice truck. I hate to sell him. I've got him set up just like I wanted!

We travel some and there's not really enough room for the baby, the stepson, the husband, the stroller and the luggage up front. It's fine in the back unless it's raining, or your in and out a lot and constantly moving luggage!

I thought about putting a camper on it, but it just wouldn't be the same!

I thought the same thing until I put mine on. Now, I would be lost without it. It's nice when it's pouring down rain and you just open the back and throw everything back there and not have to worry about it getting wet, blowing out, or stolen.

That's why I'm not too worried about not selling it. I know it's an option. I either will sell it for what I think it's worth or I won't get rid of it at all!

I know the five month old will miss that drone under her carseat. I know she loves it. :D

I've thought about the cover, but I think it would clash badly! Unfortunately, I'm very vain about the appearance of my rigs. I don't care of they get a little dusty, dirty, muddy, but I'll like to keep a certain "flow"... Heck, I'm a girl -- can't help it!!!

Tonneau covers look good on some rigs, but I just don't think they're for my truck!

The hubby has a '04 CTD, so Bailey can still hear a diesel... It just won't be the straight exaust running under her rump!!! :pals:

i say keep it and get a topper/camper shell....you can leave it off unless you travel then put it on. Or you could keep it on all the time and not worry about it at all. Theres tons of really cool looking camper shells out on the market now, i suggest you look around at those as an option before selling it and wishing you hadnt after its gone.
