dont know if the s.o. pump will work cause i have an h.o engine and the six speed trans with the h.o. pump but will the so produce more hp over stock or the ho cause from what i been reading about on the pumps the with a programmer and injectors can produce more hp than a stock ho but a ho with the programmer and injectors would produce more than the so with the add ons

An HO pump is high pressure low volume
An SO pump is Low Pressure High Volume An HO pump will give you better acceleration. However an HO pump is only good to around 500-600 hp where as the SO is 600-700hp. Either way will be good just depends on what you want.:tu: |
at 100HP injectors there is not a good reason to switch to an SO pump. The HO will fuel harder at low RPM than the SO and it does not really drop off until about 500HP with a max HP of about 550HP.
If you are going to do 200HP injectors then I would consider swapping to an SO. |
