ISSPRO Performax

I have a 40 foot motorhome with Cummins C8.3 300 hp engine in the back, and am interested in installing Performax gauges:
R59021 Pyro preturbo black 0-1600 degree egt gauge with 8' lead
R59333 Boost 0-40 PSI black gauge,
R8200 Elec signal processor

I have questions as to whether this will work considering the distance from engine to gauges:

1. From the signal processor to the gauges in the front, with the way the wires will run, I'll need 70- 75 feet of wire. Will this work, will it affect accuracy, and can you provide the wiring and at what cost? Can I use generic wire that I would purchase?

2. My exhaust manifold is tapped for a 1/4" egt sensor, and I see performax uses a 1/8". Is there a solution other than doing a new tap of 1/8" into the manifold? If I do have to do a new tap, bo you have kit with short drill bit and correct tap?

3. Can these gauges be mounted securely into my existing dash with a solid mounting system? (1/8" backing to mount into that I would cut a hole with hole saw)

4. Do you offer a generic 2 gauge angled mounting panel I can flat mount the 2 gauges into - can you provide a picture of it if so.

Pricing on all of the above direct from you?

If the Performax will not work due to the 70 - 75' wire run, what do you recommend instead for this distance of mounting?

Thank You,
Dan

I'm pming this updated info to vendors who contacted me:

I called ISSPRO and talked to tech. The engineer is out of town, but they are contacting him, then getting back to me.

Tech says use one of the vendors once they (ISSPRO) recommend pieces parts to me.

I just want a 0-40 psi boost gauge, and a 0-1600 egt/pyro gauge with a 1/4" (versus 1/8") thermocouple. Stock lower dash gauges are black face and rim, white needle. The 2 new gauges will go in a pod above the driver. I also want the optional dimmer pot.

I just put in a #10 fuelplate on my Cummins C8.3 turbo 300hp, and want a safety check, plus perhaps more fine tuning - thus the gauges.

For 2 gauges, it looks like EV2 will be cheaper, but means running 3 wires for the boost and 2 lead wires for the egt. Performax will mean running 3 wires total forward after mounting the ESP under the rear hood. I don't see a problem with the extra wires (5 vs 3) for the run as long as I can get the proper wires.

Tech at ISSPRO does not see a problem with either, and says ISSPRO can provide the wire for the long run, and thermocouple long lead wire for egt - but he wants engineer to verify.

Motorhome is 38' long, plus up to 2 8' side runs, plus up to 2 8' verticle runs. That means max wire runs of 70', likely more like 55-60 ft - but better too much wire than not enough.

Once ISSPRO gets back to me I will order thru one of the vendors here on diesel bombers.

Thanks, Dan
