bilstein 5100's or equivalent
Hello,
First off I think this is wonderful, I'm a founding member at stangnetdotcom and i have to say this is brilliant! I'm in search for front shocks for my application, which is a 1991 f150 2wd. Fully extended current front shocks measure 24" in length. the truck was lifted when I bought it. oh yes and threaded top and eyelet bottom. Thank you! Boston:rocking: |
PM on the way with some questions.

Its a superlift 6" kit on there. and these are the specs from superlift on whats on there currently:
Collapsed Length (in.): 13.9 Extended Length (in.): 22.9 Shock Stroke (in.): 9 Weight: 7 LB Height: 21in. Width: 3.25in. Depth: 3.25in. Best price I've gotten so far is $50 shipped to my door for both front shocks. Please tell me if you can do better . Thanks Jay C |

the whole suspension is superlift on the truck, so I guess I'm going with what's on there already. do you guys think superlift is a bad brand? ---AutoMerged DoublePost--- i'VE BEEN DOING SOME REASERCH AND superlift has teamed up with bilstein and have a line of really cool shocks, some with external oil reservoirs. All in all I guess superlift equipment can't be bad at all if bilstein temed up with them to create a new product. here is the link. (PerformanceLifts.com -- Superlift 2002-2005 - 4"-5" Lift Kit) the superlift shocks that are not high end are part number #85280 front shocks for a 1991 f150 2wd. the cost for both is $50 shipped to a commercial address..can anyone beat that? I need to order them asap. thank you gang! |
