Boost pipe from turbo to intercooler
(see signature for year, make and model.)
The tube running from the turbo to the intercooler appears to be too short. The boots appear to be too short to allow for the engine movement under heavy torque. Over the past 3 months, two boots have come loose. One from the turbo, the other from the intercooler. Is there a manufacturer that you would recommend that makes a tube that removes the rubber boots or is designed to handle the engine movement to a greater degree than the stock parts? Thanks in advance, Mark |
most dealers has replacement boots with clamps

MArk Make sure you get the Spring Clamps with them , they compensate for the swelling under big boost and keep the boots from sliding off , Use Hair Spray when you put them on so they slide on ez and wont come off as well

Thanks for the tip DM. I'll make a note of that. :U:
:humm: I'm really not interested in OEM parts. I'm hoping for something a whole lot stronger and made to take abuse. Thanks.. |
