Default TS Reburn Information

New here, just posted asking about who should reburn my TS, and then I stumbled into the vendors arena...

I have a TS from a friend's 99.5 that I want to make work for my 96. I am sure it can be burned to work with mine, it looks identical when held next to my old western diesel performance 4 bank.

The old western diesel chip made the truck stall at random any given time, (went through a lot of perfectly good CPS's until I figured it out) It developed a nasty lope at stop lights, smoked excessive at idle... But it made the truck run I'll admit... The current programmer I am running just doesn't seem to make a noticeable difference when in use.

I have a few more questions in comparison with TW and DP... Is there anything PHP does differently? Thanks in advance

Oh gosh! I'm so sorry I didn't answer this post sooner. This is still a relatively new forum for us, and I don't get over here as often as I should.

Every tuner has his own tricks that he throws into his tuning. As for Bill (PHP), I know many of you on here don't know much about him. I'd invite you to check out our About Us page on our website to get a little more information. One thing you'll find out is that aside from Steve Cole, Bill was one of the first 7.3L custom tuners back a dozen years ago. He and Jody used to be good friends, and Bill was the one who taught Jody how to tune, and we gave him our customer list and files back in 2004 when Edge hired Bill to be their "Ford Guy." As for Tony, Bill guided him in the beginning -- though he's certainly developed his own style throughout the years.

As for tunes, there's nothing that anyone else offers that we can't do, though there are some things we WON'T do -- like put a 140hp tune on a truck with PMRs or put a "decel" or "exhaust brake" tune on a truck with an A/T.

We have nothing but good things to say about Tony and his tuning. I don't think you'd be the least bit disappointed with his tunes or with Bill's tunes.
