It's underslab, but Bill (being Bill) is considering having a custom trailer made to keep it mobile or having a custom mount made so that we'd just have to drive up a (relatively) shallow ramp. Nice thing about the particular model is that the rollers are smaller than some other dynos (Bill was explaining it to me today), so it's not that deep. We wouldn't have to drive up huge ramps and sit in the air while dynoing.

It's like the 7.3L he just bought -- we got WAY too good of a deal to pass it up.

Sounds like a slick set up! I alwasy hated that about Maddogs dyno, my truck was about 12' in the air!

I've seen dynos like that. Pretty scary. Imagine if the tie downs give way???

Okay, so this is for you by request. As I said, we can't get it washed yet because of the lovely engine sitting in the bed. We're planning on getting any minor dings fixed and the truck repainted red. If I get my way, it'll also have a cap on it. We haven't made that final decision now because we've found a good deal on a gooseneck trailer for the dyno. Definitely getting the body and paint job done, though. Not bad for $1600, huh?
