if you are able to find a 7.3 with low milage and in great shape, definitely grab that truck. they are hard to find in good shape, but dont get me wrong, they are out there.

the 6.0 will be easier to find, but make sure if you get one you are willing to spend an extra $1000~ to fix the common problems they had. a simple EGR delete, oil cooler, and coolant filter will definitely fix most common problems the 6.0's have. and MAKE SURE to figure out what the guy did with the truck before you get it (if you choose 6.0)

if they ran a programmer on it and drove it like a bat out of hell on an all stock motor, look for some transmission problems and probably head gaskets..

dont get scared away by people telling you how "bad" the 6.0's are. as long as you change your oil and filters ON TIME and dont throw a 200 HP programmer on it while towing 15k you will be fine.

You've gotta get a diesel. Almost regardless of the gas engine it will be a huge task for a gas engine. diesel; not so much. get a D-Max:moon:
