Strange shifting in my cummins-need help!
hey guys, so i drive a 2000 ram 2500, its got 185000km on it, so nothing too crazy. the solonoid in the tranny went a few weeks ago and i had it replaced..all was good for a week and then i stopped at a gas station and filled up..went to start the truck and it choked and wouldnt start....took about three attempts to start and then the check engine light went on..the rpm gauge started going nuts, the needle would go up and down and all over the place and while im driving, it will drop down to 0rpm....the truck drives okay but i feel like somethings wrong, it hesitates to shift into 4th and occasionally if im stopped at a light in drive, the truck sounds like its choking and sputtering and kinda tries to jump forwards.....i dont know what could be wrong and any help at all would be amazing......so let me know if you guys know anything about this.:tu:
