01 chevy duramax

hello, im looking at buying a 01 duramax. 4x4 crew cab long bed dually auto. it has 268000 on it aand the guy says that if you drive long enough distances the fuel leaks into the crankcase. . what could cause this and how could i fix it?

injectors are bad on it, and hes going to need to replace them...

and he shouldn't be driving it if fuel leaks into it, some major damage can happen

I would agree with 2500HD. It gives the appearance of bad injectors from the little you said. That being said, you can't make an accurate diagnosis on a few lines of a story. However, if it is doing that. Driving long distance just makes it more obvious. It's still going on even when you drive a little. Not a good thing to have going on. Better pass on the truck or figure on dropping some serious change for some repairs.
Stay safe out there.

well the guy said that the truck was losing power so he thought it was the injectors so he took it in and none of them were bad so the cp3. but it stil leaks fuel so i wonder if an injector seal got kinked and is allowing the fuel in that way

Seems a little odd here......

Do what you want but this guy took the truck in to get it fixed and it still leaks fuel???? Seems like to me either he didn't know what was going on or it really looks like the shop had no clue either. How would you pay to have your truck worked on and the symptom still persists? Am I the only that thinks that's a little odd? It looks like there is more to this story that he ain't saying would be my guess. That alone would make me steer clear of this truck. I think I would pass on this one..
Stay safe out there.
