Looking for knowledgeable opinions
 

All opinions are needed and wanted. I bought a 2012 Ram3500 about 4 months ago and so far I'm completely in love with it but I have absolutely no skill set when I comes to mods, deletes, etc. This truck is my first foray into the diesel world and I use it as a horse hauler and occasionally as my dd. I find myself looking for reasons to just take it out for a drive. My question is this, what is a good year make model truck that would be a good learner vehicle? I have zero allegiance to any brand just looking for advice on any simple older diesel with easily found parts that may be good for a novice to tinker with and learn. Thanks
