First Diesel Truck - $30k to spend - Help me!
I am looking for my first diesel truck and I have $30k to spend. I will be using this truck solely as a daily driver and occasionally hauling a 4-wheeler. I know a gas truck will work for this, but I want a diesel.
My drive to work is 15 miles one-way and all highway, with very little city driving. I have been looking at 2007 5.9 Cummins, 2008 6.4 Powerstroke. I would add tuner, intake and exhaust to both trucks, and obviously DPF/DOC and EGR deletes on the 6.4. I want a reliable truck that I will only need basic maintenance to keep it running strong. What would you guys choose if you had $30k to spend?? |
Diesel Needed
I would sell you my 2005 Dodge 3500 dually Laramie quad cab with 5.9 and auto.
Both motor and tranny gone through about 10,000 miles ago. New brakes all the way around (4K) worth. Black and a beauty. |
