This is probably a weird question. But for a 12v, a early 24v, and a 7.3 what kind of mods would they need to be as or almost as fast as a stock 1999-2004 mustang gt? I know a built tranny regardless. Can you drive a turbo diesel like you would a mustang too? By that I just mean a heavy foot alot, not dropping the clutch or burn outs.
I can't decide on a mustang or diesel truck. The truck is alot more practical but i hate having a slow vehicle..

I know it's a dumb question but help a brotha out.

This is an odd question. Those mustangs arent exactly rockets so its not totally out of the rhelm of possibility. For any diesel its more air and more fuel. If you have never driven a turbo diesel truck remember you have that fun thing called turbo lag so you cant just stomp the throttle and expect a result right then. Upgrade the injectors, turbo, air intake. Bump the timing on the pump in the 12v and/or add a fuel pin. Get some sort of programmer for the 24v or the 7.3. With all that said if you are worried about going fast get the musturd. If you have a reason to own the truck get it, make it reliable, and get a mustang later. Inexpensive, reliable, and powerful. You only get to pick two out of the three. :c:

Hello Im new to forums, and well I've been having problems with 1995 7.3 Powerstroke i have been having a bad leak! its leaking from where the starter is mounted on. There's no fuel in the valley. Ive also noticed that my fuel drain valve dosnt drain when i open the valve . NEEEEEDDDD HELLPP Please

But thanks for replying man! I know they have turbo lag, and im not expecting a mustang, just something with some oomph haha. A truck just fits be better since i fish a lot and take my quad places to ride etc. Im looking at a bulletproofed 6.0 PSD this weekend and it sounds like the perfect truck for me.

It didnt work out unfortunately. :dang: Do you think 12 grand is fair for an 02 duramax? it has 199k, stock injectors and tranny. But he said he can run balance rates on it to shpw me the injectors are good. It had a Edge juice with attitufde put on two years ago, and he said he runs it on the 3rd setting..
