Need educated opinions on my first diesel truck!

Hi, I'm new to the forum and was hoping for some good insight. I'm about to start shopping for a diesel truck and would like some good input from educated people. I've. Basically got my mind made up between three different trucks I want to look for.

Firstly, no matter what I'm limiting the mileage to 100k or lessno matter what truck it is. The truck must have a crew cab, and a long box is preferable. Could live with a reg. box. 4x4 is also a must as is a tow package.

I'm basically torn between a chevy, a dodge and a ford... its a nightmare every time I think about it.

I've thought about doing a 6.7 cummins. Id like a 6-speed with a cummins, and a id do a megacab with a reg box if available. But if they can only have short beds id take a plain old quad cab.

Also considered a ford 6.4, but I know little about them. It would also need a 6-speed.

Then I considered a lbz duramax, only truck id take with an auto trans, mostly because that's all that's available. I like the ride quality, as well but its not a deal breaker by any means.

Also, I want to have a good trim level. Laramie, lariat and whatever chevys top trim is is a must almost. For the right truck I could step down a little but I really want leather and a good radio.

Also, a 3/4 ton would be sufficient, but a srw 1 ton is always welcome.

So my question is, out of these three options, which would you choose and why? Any ideas what the price tag will look like

Also consider the fact that I have a wife and two year old son. So the truck has to be nice to look at and comfortable, and leather is better because messes are way easier to clean.
