Offroading trip

I have to say I was extremely satisfied at how my truck did. i didn't think a 7500# could do some of the stuff i did. Granted, i didn't do any rock trails. I like my fenders the way the are. my the ole girl kicked ass on the flats and hills. this was to Tuttle Creek ORV park in Kansas

Looks like a heap of fun! Thanks for posting!:c:

I was bitten by the off-road bug several years ago. Even been to Moab a couple times. I can tell you right now, an 8000lb, 21 foot long diesel truck with stock suspension and tires does NOT make a good rock-crawler!:lol88: Took me nearly 4-hours to cover a 10-mile "moderate" trail. Never thought 4-low, granny gear and 4.10's would ever be too fast! I made it to the other end with no damage (except a mild trail-side pin stripe) and a huge grin on my face.

It inspired me to start a slightly more appropriate project. A rusty old '83 S-10 with full-width axles (dana 44 front - dana 60 rear), 37" IROCKS and a 4BT Cummins. Someday I'll get-er-done!:U:

I took mine over Mosquito Pass in CO last summer with an Alaskan camper on the back. Made it fine and never spun a wheel. Very slow trip though. Had to tell the girlfriend to stop screaming she was going to die, or get out of the truck and walk. Thin air, she didn't walk very far.:s:
