EFI Live trouble
 

Recently moved to Dallas area and the guys who put EFI live on my truck is out of state. I need to find someone local who has the programmer and willing to help me change my tune. Thanks! ( '02 Lb7)

I was told you could possibly help me.My Efi was stolen and the last guy who tuned my truck last is in cali and Im not driving there for a tune. Im in DFW area, can you help?

there is many things you can do, probably the cheapest is getting a V1, but you can get a used v2 if its a good deal and you would have to buy a license. finding a stock tune to re-flash it and modify is not hard to do i can help you out with that part when you are ready.

you can buy a new v2 also and know that you will be getting two licenses.

I am interested in getting efi live. you speak of getting a used v2. I am trying to save a little money here but still want to get something pretty reliable. Is it possible to do this being stock or should i just suck it up and buy the new one.?????????

yeah you can use a used v2, the only problem is that the licenses that come with it to actually lock the tuner to your vehicle to tune it might be used up with buying a used v2. and then you will have to pay $98 for a new license on top of that to be able to flash the truck.

you can buy a new V2 which costs 800 right now and it comes with two licenses to tune to vehicles, and it gives you the ability to upgrade OS's to a dsp5 os for five switchable tunes. but included with the price of the $800 is the price for tuning from a vendor which can vary.

and the last solution is getting an autocal from a vendor, they run about 299ish (+ cost of tuning). you can tune, scan, and log just like the regular V2. except you cant edit your tunes the guy who tunes your truck takes your feedback and makes changes for you. it takes the guess work out. the only down side do that is that you wont have the five switchable tunes on the fly using an autocal. you are unable to convert the ecm to do that, it takes a V2 to do that.
