Default Bully Dog Shift kit?

i just put a few mods on my truck (intake, chip, and exhaust) but i know them lb7 5sp allisons arent gonna last very long on the 120hp setting, and at the moment i dont have the money to put a stage 4 tranny in like i would like to sometime later on, would a shift kit be my answer on trying to save my tranny for a little longer?

Even with that shift kit be very careful. It's very easy to limp a stock 5 speed on a +75hp tune.

I went to school to rebuild the Allison and the 5 speeds get little to no benefit from a shift kit. Save your money and build it up right.

Till then go easy on it.
