hey delong how long did that take you to do that. what year did you do it in? also what studs would you recomend? i plan on running a dual turbo set. i think i would like to run no more than 60 psi. i am looking into the 800 dollar set would that be enough?

the standard set of the ARP studs will work fine for your application. The vendors here carry them for alot less than 800

it took about 12 hours, i was doing some other things while i was in there. did billet injector hold downs and a couple other little things. i just got the standard ARP's also 800 is WAY too much. good luck!!

should i drain the coolant from my block before i do it. or do you think it will be ok?

you have to drain some. to get stuff out of way to remove V/C's. You'll need a real short 5mm allen socket to get rear allens off them too.

thats alot of work

if i had to do just the studs again, i would probably drain as much as you can through the valve on the radiator.

and x2 on the lower valve cover allen bolts, i used a ball end allen socket, you can also use a regular allen wrench if its not too tight
