Replacing 3/8 Wasetage Hose For 5/8 Hose

What does happen?

I just swapped out my stock 3/8 hose for a 5/8 hose and clamped it down nice n tight to keep it from leaking. I took it our for a test drive and only made 25 psi.

My boost gauge tap is on the waste gate hose and with the 3/8 stock hose and T-Fitting i made with brass pieces. The T-Fitting had 3/8 fittings on it so the stock hose has to be greased and forced onto the hose. And i can make my boost creep up to 32 psi rarely, but it can easy hit 27 psi.

Im going to drive out to Dallas in a few minutes(257 miles) with the 5/8 hose on. and record my MPG with my new hose and what kind of boost numbers im reading.

What will happen....:humm:

well made it to dallas, going to fill er up tomo soon and find out my mpg with this. I hit 28psi on the highway, but i think it can do better with the stock hose on there.

Well time to pinch my hose now :D
