Our Diesel ObsessionI’m obsessed with diesels. For me, the addiction began when I was a little kid and a train rumbled past the lumberyard my dad took us to. My diesel dependency then jumped to construction equipment, and as a boy I’d study jobsites for hours. I didn’t know anything about diesel pickup trucks until the mid-’80s, when I fell in love with a GMC Sierra dualie at the Big E fairgrounds in New England. I’ve been hooked ever since.
