Bad Fuel Contaminants?
Ok, I have a buddy, or used to be anyways, I used to store some of my crap out at his place because he has property out in the country. But recently me and him had a parting of the ways so I need to go get my crap, (88 ford f450, motorcycle, 2 drag up tanks, welders body, etc.) and one problem I have is that 1 of the tanks is brand new and has 50-55 gallons of clean diesel in it, well now I dont know. I was just wondering if he tried to do something to the fuel in that tank what could he have done that I wont be able to see or smell? Water I am not worried about because I can see that, I have heard sugar can cause damage but does it disolve in diesel, or will it settle? I have to pump it into my truck before I can get the tank off the ground because I would imagine he wont let me use his tractor to put it in my bed. So what are ways he could have vandelized my fuel so it would cause harm to my truck, fuel system or engine?:humm:

If its been sitting for more then a few months IMHO is junk... Water and algae will start to grow and it will fubar anything it goes in.

I'm not so sure I would just pump it in your tank... Replacing injectors will not be exciting for you without good cores to send in...
Can you dip a cup or something in there to check the fuel? |

He would have to be a pretty big prick to do that...
I would say pump it thru a 10 mic fuel/water filter and you should be good. |
Well it is just 50 Gallons... Last I checked it killed grass quite nicely... :w2:
