dont waste your money. its not the best. overcrowded too. save your cash and find a school near you. the money you save from not going to yo-tetch , you can go to a same, if not better education and have money to live in a apartment. most comm.coll. offer a aas degree instead of the cert. youd get at wyo. the asm doesnt offer the degree anymore either

went there in 07-08. i liked the fact that i got the education in 9 months instead of two years. after i graduated, i had a job. the downside is the $20,000 school loan. the town is a college town, but i thought it sucked.

I was looking into going to UTI's Pheonix campus for Diesel tech, is Wyo-tech a better school?

I am attending Lincoln College of Technology in Indy right now for heavy duty diesel and truck. I am wont say the school sucks but for me if i had it to do all over i would most definetly switch my decision around and do a little more thinking.

well i guess i'll throw my $0.02 in i got a buddy up at NADC here in TN right now but he's going for collision and he's told me that the diesel program up there is insane and that the instructors really know there stuff but it gets turned into a bunch up grab assin because you'll get those guys in there that are just there cus they got nothing else to do and don't really care but then again he also said that the guys that go there in the morning time are usually there to actually learn and your also in Nashvages so there will be plenty to do. but in the end it all comes up to what you want to do

NADC is where ill be going once i return from deployment, thanks to the post 9/11 gi bill :jump:

I was out in Cheyenne for 3 years in the Air Force, and I will have to say that there is nothing in Cheyenne or Laramie. However, being the outdoor enthusiast that I am, i loved it! Went up to Medicine Bow several hundred times hunting and fourwheeling. There is also a place between Cheyenne and Laramie called Vedawoo?? (spelling) National park where all of my buddies and I went to take our truck to go four wheeling. Its real fun in the snow but dont go by yourself. You get stuck up there without help your done. I remember seeing a truck stuck up there all winter till spring came and melted all of the snow. Lots of hunting out there as well. Most ranchers will let you hunt on their property, but all in all, I had a blast out there.:c:

I took the course up there and honestly for how much i paid i am not impressed by what they taught. So i recommend a smaller school or at least one not as expensive. Maybe UTI
