SCT LIVEWIRE TUNER SETTINGS - 6.4 L - 2008 f-350 DPF/CAT DELETE
 
IM CURIOUS WHEN WE PROGRAM OUR TRUCKS, WHICH SETTING COMBINATION IS THE BEST? WHEN IT ASKS ABOUT TIRE SIZE, OTHER THAN STOCK - WHAT DOES SCT HAVE LOADED IN AS STOCK TIRE SIZE ? I FEEL LIKE I NEED TO CHANGE IT, SINCE I HAVE 20'S AND 275/65'S - BUT THAT IS STOCK FOR KING RANCH SUPER DUTYS, BUT NOT FOR STANDARD SUPER DUTYS WITH 18" WHEELS, ETC ??? DO YOU THINK ITS A BIG DEAL ? ALSO, WHEN SET ON EXTREME MODE - DO YOU SET TRANS ON FIRM OR SOFT, AND ON PERFORMANCE, DO YOU SET IT ON FIRM OR SOFT ? WHATS THE DYNO ONLY OPTION IN TRANSMISSION SECTION ? ANY OTHER SETTING COMBINATIONS ON THE TUNER, THAT COULD BE HELPFUL TO KNOW, BESIDES REGEN OFF,ETC - SEEMS LIKE MY TAKE OFF/BOTTOM END IS ABOUT THE SAME,AND MY RPMS WONT GO UP VERY HIGH IN 1ST-3RD.. NO TORQUE/ TAKE OFF SPEED, CAUSE ITS SHIFTING GEARS SO FAST.. IF THAT MAKES SENSE.. THANKS

the tire size will effect shifts and sct mph readings. i would punch in your tire size which would be about a 34" if im correct on my math. but i found firm shifts work best for me..no slippage and not to hard.. you said you just have the sct? it doesnt have any custom tunes on it, Innovatives, Elites, KEM?

and the dyno only tuning locks the convertor in 5th gear and doesnt down shift the trans so you dont have a power spike.
