what are you gonna do with this truck? DD, race, pull, mudding?

ladderbars are good but 4link bars are better :jump:, slapperbars are ok but not really for a big truck, do you have welding experiance? if not you need a shop that will do it :s:

Like stated, what are you gonna do with the truck? Mainly you need to decide if it will see any serious offroad use that will include lots of suspension travel etc.

A ladder bar with shackle at the frame mount will be needed if you do a lot of flexing/articulation of the suspension.

I like a simple traction bar for just that reason, its simple, but it limits your suspension travel offroad, and can bind up. A long bar has more give than a short bar when it comes to suspension travel. Mount them below the axle and make sure your frame and axle mounts are heavy duty.

Tons of pics in this thread... lets see pics of traction bars - Competition Diesel.Com - Bringing The BEST Together

Mainly just street driving. probably never pull it, besides a gooseneck..and may drag it a few times. i was thinking track bars anyway but i really like the looks of the ladder bars just didnt know which would better suite it
