downpipe trouble

What can cause this?
It does not look like squished in a vise or get hammered into this shape.
It's right below the turbocharger exhaust.
I have no explanation how this could happen.
Anyone of you?
Any idea how I can get that back in shape?

Did you put that engine is? or someone else? or was it factory?

I had to massage my 4" downpipe to make it fit in my truck.

The exhaust and engine is stock.
I disassembeled the exhaust manifold , turbo and downpipe to get the intake out for soot cleaning.
That dent was hidden behind the factory heat insulation of the downpipe of the Jeep and showed no impact on it. Could it be a heat fatigue?

That dent decreases the output diameter about 1/3. Not acceptable!

Just have a look at the internal and the crude exhaust fitting- who builds something like this?
It's not really what I would call causing a laminar flow.

Did you recognize the extreme clean exhaust- 2-stroke oil:rock:
