why dodge ?????

I have a 05 f250 love the truck its a very nice truck and fast......here we go .....so why is it that almost every nhrda race i see on the net or even i went too the one here lastweek in washington state that the dodges just about win every race ????1st there are more of them at the races racing ... it was like 5 fords 2 chevs and 20 dodges and all the dodges smoked just about everything out there.....hhmmmm why ?????

let's see:
we have five tomatoes, two bananas, and twenty(!) apples
So it is a volume of 5 : 2 : 20
According to the Gaussian normal variation the chance of wining apples is compared with the tomatoes 4 times higher and compared with the bananas 10 times higher.

Just kidding...
It seems that the Cummins is engine can develop more power combined with more torque.
Don't forget that invested money plays a big role in that game.
:c:

if you invest enough money in anything, it will runn!!!

If we're taliking about 12v Dodges the inital cost of the truck and to get X amount of hp is usually less dollars invested vs a modern computerized truck. So take the money plus what it didnt cost you to get to that hp compaired to a newer truck and stick that into the truck and you get a better bang for the buck ratio. BUT thats only to a certain point after awhile they all will cost you an arm and a leg to reach the next level. Kinda help?

Like these guys said, the Cummins is the easiest and cheapest to make big HP with. Quite a few guys out here at the pulls run Cummins motors in Ford or Chevy trucks, but these are really just bodies as the chassis are full tubing, and the suspensions and drivelines are anything but stock.

At a certain level of power, its hard for the V-8's that Ford and Chevy use to stay intact, while the Cummins can handle it for a number of reasons I'm not gonna get into here.

ya i figured that it was cheaper then ford or chev but just wanted 2 make sure...I know that ford lowered compression too get more power .. other wise it will blow....thanks guys..
