In need of gauges and advice.

Well I'm looking for gauges finally.

Going with the 3 pod pillar.

Not sure what brand to go with or what style, I am quite partial to black faces with green lettering.

Going with a 60# boost
1600* EGT
and a Tranny temp

I want electrical don't like running hoses when I can run wires.

So let me hear about what you guys recommend.

I thought I would ask you guys before I posted up for a quote. No sense in the sponsors dealing with my lack on knowledge :argh:

i have isspro like them so far everything has been good and as far as lack of knowledge our sponsers our usually pretty patient at least the ones who have dealt with me :humm:

Hmm... maybe I'll go ahead and post up for a quote. I've heard good things about ISSpro from a few other people.

Isspro match the OEM guages the best. Get blue bulb covers. I have Isspro EV Series. Make sure you get the EV (enhanced visibility) or performax series.

The boost guage will be mechanical. Just get some 1/8" airbrake line at an autoparts store and the correct fittings - its dead easy to install. The other two are electric guages.

Just posted up a quote.. I thought you could get boost gauges that were electrical.

I'm sure the vendors can help me out :) They were very nice last time!

Now that i think about it - the performax guages probably are. Ill shut up now - its been awhile since I bought guages.

What gauges do you run on yours Dr. Evil.

I see you drive the same truck as I do.

Dr. Evil 04-08-2010 03:21 PM

I have Isspro EV-1's.

Pyro, boost, tranny temp, fuel pressure and a 2 5/8" oil pressure guage

PlatinumFlamePyro 04-08-2010 11:41 PM

Haha, I got a price on EV-2's with the daisy chain thingy.

I think I like that setup!

Diesel Dawgs Performance 04-09-2010 12:10 AM

EV2's are all Electrical. The Performax are also electrical and can be daisy chained with up to 17 gauges.
