Best Clutch For Street Driven Truck?

Ok, I have a CTD with an NV5600, and I am looking into a clutch. I don't need one yet, but would like to know what to start saving for. My plan is to replace the clutch before I start bombing the truck, just to get that done, so its one less thing to worry about. This truck is a street driven truck. It does not see the strip, or pulling competitions. It just sees some towing, but its almost always empty. Give me some ideas here. I am looking at Con Fe, but I am not sure which one to go with.

You and me both. I am already bombing mine and the clutch is starting to slip fairly bad when at WOT. I am looking at a SB DD 3600#, the street strip one whichever one it is. I have been quotes $1600 + shipping for it a few months ago so I am saving diligently to get it in soon to I can crank up my programmer and chip. :bombin::w2:

how much power do you plan to add?

My plan is to add a box, and thats probably about it. MAYBE a bigger turbo down the line, but thats doubtful. Im thinking the truck wont have more than 500 hp total.

One word! "Southbend" Give Peter a call and he'll take good care of ya.

If your only going to add a box Scott and maybe a turbo, I'd recommend the Con OFE. Awesome all around clutch and it will hold 450 ponies. That's what I was running in my 02.

I have a con ofe in mine, it will hold a bully dog TD on the extreme setting no problem. I can nail in 3rd gear and light all 4 back tires, shift it into forth and light'em again. I would say it can hold more than 450hp but I don't how much more. I got it mainly because I tow alot of heavy stuff and wanted a clutch that was managable on take off without it being too grabby. This clutch is perfect for that.
