Toyota SUV diesel
was in Europe a few weeks ago, drove with one in a Toyota full size SUV with a v8 diesel, 5 liter turbo/inter-cooler. he popped the hood, all there is visible of the engine is the inter-cooler, laying on to of the engine. truck was quiet, ran fine, he said fuel is 12 liter/100 km.
2009 model with less than 10000 km on clock |
I don't understand why the USA can't get their head out of its ass and allow more diesels into this country. :argh: Yes I know big oil and the stupid EPA have ALOT to do with it.... :ph:

yeah toyota has been using diesels in all their trucks in the rest of the world for decades. it's here that they aren't allowed to do it.

I'm not sure why Toyota has not brought diesels to the U.S. but I'm sure Ford/GM/Dodge doesn't mind a bit.

they dont think they would make enough money sellin em to make the investment to clear our 2010 emissions. if they would bring their 1 ton tundra here i bet they would do well, but otherwise americans are lame and think all diesels are loud, smoky, and stink. geez, its time for em to wake up
