Your Dream Truck
If you were asking the bank for a loan that you never had to pay back what truck and BOMBS would you do?
I personally have the truck that I am talking about, unfortunately I have to pay for truck still but all my mods are paid for. MAKE AND SUSPENSION If I ever build another one I will most likely buy a Dodge MC 4x4 (unless Chevy builds a MC) with a 6" lift on 37's. Of course I would have to have amp steps and dual shocks on the front and rears. It would be black exterior and interior with the windows blacked out. Every piece of plastic in the interior would be black glossy plastic. The seats would have custom "no problem" logo's engraved in the air conditioned seats. Power slider and or a doggy door opening into my portable refrigerator (I drive 250 miles a day on average and do not drink beer and drive so not for beer) in the back of the cab. The undercarriage would be powder coated in red or royal blue (the parts that would look cool) without over doing it. I think my drive shaft would be chromed though. I would have a power sliding bed cover. I would remove all the badges and door molding. SOUND SYSTEM The sound system would be just about what I have now 2-10's, 8 mids and highs and a ton of watts to push it all. I would have screens on the back of the headrests and a custom made console with one in it. I would have a custom built compartment for a 27" LCD and surround sound in the bed for tailgating at ball games, then you have to add a luggage rack up top to hide the satellite TV. ENGINE MODS I would put dual 5" exhaust minus the DPF with a mild tuner since I am not much into the whole speed thing for me. |
two seperate dreams, one diesel pwrd....... take a dually to choo choo customs and have the body widened just as friggin wide as the rear tubs, go nuts from there making it a single flat sided truck. front axle stretched to equal the rear that now sports one super single. the other hair brained idea is based on siameasing a few harley davidson motors and building a custom crank to turn say 4 motors into one big bad V8 keeping it air cooled with 4 pairs of zoomies comin straight up outa the hood :D

Wow, thats actually a tough one for me.. But, If I was getting a loan from the bank, and I never had to pay it back, Id get enough of a loan for several things.. a couple of the trucks on my list would be :
2007 GMC Topkick CC (for daily driver and pulling my camper) 6.6L LBZ Duramax
2007 Classic CC/SB 4x4 (somewhat street friendly 10.40 ET drag racer) 8.1 L LBZ Block Bored & Stroked
Im sure I can go on and on, but I think ya'll get the point.. |
Well if we're talkin about multiple trucks. I'd also haft to have a 1987 Peterbilt 359 Ext. Hood with a 300" wheelbase, 72" sleep that'd been chopped down to a flat top cuz if I'm not mistaken 63" was as big as they offer from the factory. With a modern day drivetrain bein a 625 horse C16 Cat, 18spd w/4sp auxillary, car hauler front axle, 8" stacks, oak wood floor, chicken lights everywhere, texas bumper with the curve that folds up for low clearance, and a cockpit full of gauges and electronics that would rival a 747. I'm talkin GPS, CBs, scanners etc., etc., just a real outlaw style left hand lane gang truck
