New to the forum

I'm new to the forum and wanted to say hi. My name is Brandon and I'm currently in missouri. I was a diesel mechanic in the army and own an old 6.5L c2500. Replaced the worn out 6.2L in my 84 with a used 6.5L. It's been awhile since I've used a diesel as a daily driver but I think that I wanna get back into a diesel DD. The old 6.5L won't cut it so I'm looking to buy a new diesel. What do you guys think of the two I've narrowed my list to.

1. Slightly used Sierra Denali HD
Or
2. Toyota Tundra with cummins when it comes out

Will lift and run 35-37 inch tires. What's your comments?

Welcome to db :hellox:

If you want to buy the foreign truck with a fake cummins go ahead. Just my opinion though :w2:

We could go round and round about Ram 2500 built in Mexico or silverados that are built in the US from parts made overseas. Tundras are one of the most American made trucks in the usa. With a cummins under the hood, it might beat out the F150 as the most American made truck. Why is the 5L cummins a fake cummins?

I don't really mind tundra. I can honestly say that I do.

But the issue I have with that cummins is it is a v-8, now I am not saying v-8s are junk, but in the history of cummins they have not made a well put together v-8 for road usage. They make a lot of engines for other applications that are in a v platform. But not ones that run in a range rather than steady rpm
