What to look for when buying a 97 7.3 powerstroke?

So my dodge auto tranny recently lost reverse (broken rear clutch band) so I put it up for sale. I have someone who wants to trade me a 97 7.3 powerstroke auto 4x4 crew cab shortbed with 240k, Its had the water pump fuel pump oil pump and turbo replaced and "front end suspension work done." The problem is I've never been a ford guy so idk much about them and what to lookout for when I look at it. Any info on the common issues and how to lookout for them when I look at and drive this truck would be much appreciated. Also how expensive a common problem would be to fix on it would be nice.
Thanks!

My truck is a 94 12v auto reg cab with 280k, flatbed, brand new bosch injection pump with 16deg timing, new lift pump, k&n intake, 4" straight pipe turbo back with tip, 3" lift, overload springs and 36" iroks. had it up for sale for $5500

There's a reason he wants to trade his power stroke for a Cummins.
