The Race To DenverThis month’s editorial comes to you by way of my hotel room on the eve of Diesel Power Challenge 2013. As I’m writing this, I am starting to hear the familiar clatter of diesel trucks invading the Marriott parking lot from my 5th story perch. It is exciting to watch as our field trickles in, knowing that history is about to be made over the course of a week. In each of those trucks is a crew filled with hope and excitement of the unknown, and I am reminded to appreciate that Diesel Power Challenge is so powerful, readers are willing to drive as many as 1,800 miles this year to be a part of it.
