im sure he did. most people dont know what a 53 block is, so that means hes been doing research. he bought the right gauges, got a new lift pump, and knows what block. the inside looks great i cant wait to drive it.

just a question: is the 2nd gen louder than the commonrail? ive heard both.. ive heard 2nd gen is engine louder, and commonrails are exhaust louder? i just want info from someone that owns a 2nd gen 24v. ill probably take the stack kit off the 6.0, because i dont really have the money to buy another kit lol.. ill be swapping exhausts basically

dont EVEN get me freaking started on the ford turning radius... a school bus could do a u turn in places my ford wont..

and yep im not technically converting, because most likely i wont be able to sell the 6.0... but once the engine blows up again in that, ill probably find me a cheap 12v and just tinker with the ford. love the truck... hate the damn engine, as im sure you had the same feelings.

I wouldn't run stacks me personally no holes In the bed leave it that Way. Once you sell ur ford take that money and use it for exhaust.

Common Rails are have less engine noise due to the high pressure fuel system it has up to 30000 PSI unlike the VP44 5000 Psi so the 2nd gens are louder and I think the exhaust is louder than any of the newer Cummins. I love ford cabs, and bodies but I dont want nothing to do with navistar engines... Tired and hate em... I have a 3in straight and Its louder than most cummins, I have the oldest cummins outta my friends one has an 01, and another an 03, and the other has an 07.5 and me and the 01 friend have the loudest trucks, the 03, and 07 guys straight piped there trucks so they could at least be as loud as the engines lol.... I think your gonna drive that dodge 10 feet get out and hand over the 14K and go home with a grin from ear to ear. lol

By the way I told you how much my bumper cost on page two, at the very bottom if you didnt catch it....

well good! im glad it will be loud. i was hoping it would at least be as loud as my buddies 04.5 with dual 6 inch mitres on it. maybe itll even be louder :humm: and yea i caught the price. i doubt ill have any luck finding one for that price haha! i got a lot to worry about.. bed liner, towing mirrors, window tint, tires, rims, running boards, cab lights, and dont forget the 6% title transfer fee... :ouch:

Id personally wait for all the little stuff, to me tow mirrors, cab lights, running boards, rims all can wait unless you haul alot I wouldn't worry about it. I actually have the power heated non tow mirrors and they do fine for me right now. Id rather save 250 for mirrors for something more important for me I want a lift pump, quad adrenaline, and new bumpers and dash before anything else. But all that seems done. Try to talk the seller into letting you put like 500 down for buying price instead of full asking price.

I can pull a 10 foot trailer just fine with my soccer mom mirrors I plan on gettin bigger ones but Ill wait till I get a 5th wheel hitch... Cab lights, but I need to get a BHAF. Headlights, because I want the coyote to think im god when I turn my lights on lol! I think your gettin a nice truck for the price... I had to pay 250 bucks for my title fee and taxes, and another 190 bucks for the registastion, I got luck my title say my truck weight 5200 pounds so that brought the price down on registration but my truck weighs 91240 loaded, so I wonder what was missing when the title was made and the truck was weighed oh well works for me:tu:

The only thing you gotta worry about is the transfer fee the rest is the fun stuff... so dont worry! One piece at a time, just like how Johnny Cash done it.:c:

Your Ford would be a sweet truck with a 500hp 12 valve :tu:

Stroker, what do you mean by put 500 down? And is the quad adrenaline best for these year models? Id like a programmer, but really dont want to hurt this engine at all

Ranchhand, yea i hope it doesnt break me doing the transfer crap.. Im glad i found this opportunity to get this truck for a good price!

Tireman, yea ive always thought so too:humm: but anyways thats towards the bottom of the list right now :dang:
