Some Stacked F550 Pics
5 Attachment(s)
Just thought I would share our latest project with you other Ford guys. Customer runs a hotshot company, mostly equipment. Anyhow, he wanted stacks, and after talking him out of 6" stacks, he let me do my thing. I think they came out quite nice. Had to fab up an upper mount out of aluminum, which matched the bed pretty well. Here are some pics -
Before stacks, pulling it in to relocate the Air Ride compressor and tank. Attachment 59955 Front shot, stack less Attachment 59956 Side shot, nice and polished! Attachment 59957 I used chrome elbows at the bottom and polished stainless clamps, so overall I think it came out pretty clean looking. Josh was pretty excited to say the least. Attachment 59958 And a shameless plug for Josh's favorite diesel shop!:yeah: Attachment 59959 We'll see how he likes these miters. He is already thinking of swaping them out for Aussie style stacks. He can't make up his mind. I must say props to Grand Rock for getting everything here intact and not beat to hell. Not a scratch in any of the chrome and you always worry about getting everyting you ordered when you order a ton of different pieces. You just can't beat Grand Rock's quality! |
I think it looks great. Looks like a perfect fit.

I think I'd want heat shield being that close to the rear doors. But other than that, they look AWSOME!!
|
wow looks like a Kit right out of their showroom nice job Jason!
|
That looks good. :U:

Thanks Guys.
Funny finding - Now with the Stacks, the exhaust is actually quieter than the straight pipe he had prior. Also, Egts are a little lower. |

He finally got it hooked to a trailer. Actaully, one of the guys at teh drag in Sacramento blew the head gasket AND cracked his block, so first load with the stacks was on Sunday.
