I have never rode in a Powerstroke

Until today....

My brother borrowed a buddys '00 to haul some stuff - had a 4" lift and 35's on it. What a NICE truck. I was quite impressed.

That is all.

(actually, I lied I just remember riding in one years ago it wasnt near as nice)....

And heres the bad part - the owner is a mechanic and he works at a Dodge dealership...:duh3: :duh3: :duh3:

I personally know 3 cummins rm mechanic's one drives a GMC 1/2 ton and other 2 drive ford. But one does have a 1st gen dodge for a farm truck.

I think its funny how that all works.

i remember when i worked at a car lot, it was a joke between us to always look at what the sales people drive. i worked at a Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealership and none of the sales people drove any of the lines we sold. over at the Ford Lincoln Mercury dealership everyone had one of the brand they sold for.....

Yeah I like our 04 6.0L power choke service truck. Move pretty good considering they only fixed 1 injector and it's grossly overloaded for an F-350. :w2:

All trucks are nice, if they are kept up. after owning a 01 and 04 cummins ( had a block crack and cummins wouldnt warranty it cause it was made in canada with only 60k..another story) i bought my crew cab stroker ( 02 only 13k) at a dodge dealer when i took my bad lemon back and was reluctant to buy a stroker but damn...the thing looked and still looks good..i love the cab on these super dutys-- comfy. I gave up 3mpg going to Ford, but don't regret it at all! Knock on wood my Ford has never let me down, have done nothing to it as far as failures go. I personally think the 02 7.3 engine is the best! My $.02.
