Those are awsome. I had a single 7 inch on mine. But the drone killed me. But Maybe I should of made mine go higher than the cab. Does that help?

dsl_pwrd_ford 08-19-2009 11:41 AM

i dont knotice a huge difference in the high rpms. i've also got worn out MT's that howl pretty good. i absolutely love the sound in lower RPMS, figgin bad ass

dsl_pwrd_ford 08-21-2009 08:06 AM

Thumper 08-23-2009 12:15 AM

How did you make the Y pipe and how hard is it to put them In. I had a shop quote me 1250 for parts and laybor. They use a diamond plate box in stead.

04redstroker 08-23-2009 04:17 PM

Looks good. Im thinkin about a single 7 below the cab on mine.

all it is a a tee. basically a field goal post and it wasnt hard at all. just had to buy some clamps and an elbow plus a ID adapter

Thumper 08-23-2009 05:58 PM

What is an ID adapter

dsl_pwrd_ford 08-23-2009 07:11 PM

ID = inside diameter. i cant weld, and i needed to mate 2 ends of 4" outside diameter "OD" pipe together. so i bought a chunk of pipe that had been internally expanded to 4" ID

Thumper 08-24-2009 08:50 PM

Did you notice a rise or fall of egt's:moto:

:U:looks great!!!!!! and sounds pretty sweet. nice growl to it.

strokin'_tatsch 08-31-2009 08:33 PM

i still don't see how y-pipes set up like that or with 4x4 steel flow very well... it just looks so blocky that it seems like the exhaust wouldn't flow all that great, BUT your stacks look good. haven't listened to them yet since i'm at work... hahahahaha.

snowlvr 08-31-2009 10:48 PM

SWEET...love the vid......sounds great......and the smokin is HUGE:rocking:

powerstroker13 09-27-2009 07:01 PM

Those are sweet, i just ordered some stacks myself, how big are those?

dsl_pwrd_ford 09-27-2009 10:45 PM

6". what style a size did u get?

powerstroker13 10-01-2009 08:43 PM

I ordered some 6" bullhaulers, they actually came today, but i wont have any time to put them on for a while though :argh:

CSIPSD 10-01-2009 09:43 PM

Look good, I like them myself just a little lower, just over the cab or even...

I am thinking of a 6" black stack for mine. No room for duals with the fuel tank and tool box.
