what power upgrades for under 1000
 

well yesterday i aquired my very first diesel . (1990 f350 4x4 1 ton crew cab non turbo) ... i am looking into doing some performace upgrades but being that it is this old i really dunno what i can do to gain more power and better performance. any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :humm:

Look around for a new or used ATS turbo kit for it, is it a 6.9 or a 7.3 idi?

there is a few guys around that know these IDI motors I know there is some pump mods you can do but I would get a set of gauges before I did anything.

ok thanks for the input on my question... and its the 7.3L .. i went today and ordered all the stuff to run 4'' exhaust and im goin to pick up my 6" x4' stack tomorrow . how much if any differance will ibe able to tell?:humm:

with only an exhaust I am not sure you will notice much but it will make a lot more noise.
I found one place when I was lookin for parts for my 6.9 idi outlawdiesel.net has performance pumps and stuff I talked to the guys a few times and they know what they are talking bout. good luck man.
