87 f150 300 6 to 6.9 diesel conversion

i have a 86 f250 with a 6.9 diesel and would like to know how hard it would be and what would i need to swap this into a 1987 f150 4x4 m.t.(np435)300 6cyl.

Time and patience. They are not that hard if you have both trucks. Use the front coils out of the 250. The frames were all the same. What trans is in the diesel?

it has a c-6

You will need to find either a divorced T-Case to run the C6 or find a T19 with bellhousing. I'm not 100% sure on the differences between the T19 and 435. Look over on Oilburners.net as a few guys over there have done them.

I have the same project but I've got a 86 f150 4x4 300ci 6cyl. On 3/4 ton frame an I'm wantin to convert it into diesel more than likely gonna set a cummins 4bt in it.

I think F250's had leaf springs :humm: So you would need to find some pretty heavy duty coils to put up front!
