2004 6.0 brake problem
 

was out wheeling my truck the other night and after driving today my brake pedal felt really weird and soft, i would have to pin it to the floor to get the truck to do anything. havent had time to check the brake fluid. i'm a broke college student in maine and i need to drive home to new jersey at the end of the week so a quick cheap fix would be great and the rest of my tools are in new jersey. any ideas or what to look for would be extremely helpful thanks!! :c:

update, there was no brake fluid in reservoir and lines seem dry. going to put fluid in reservoir and see if there is a leak anywhere. would pumping the brakes make fluid piss out or would it drip out slowly if there was a leak somewhere?
