TCC Not Working
TCC is not locking. RPMs are running pretty high on the freeway (especially up grades).
I did get an O/D flashing light once or twice, but have not gotten it recently. Pulled coded and did not see any tranny related DTCs. I wIred up a manual TCC lockup switch to no avail. The purple/yellow wire is giving .07V with key on, does this sound correct? It looks like I may need to get a new TCC solenoid, can this be purchased individually, or do I need to buy the whole solenoid pack (all I can find is the whole pack for ~$300)? Thanks all. |

Cleaned up the transmission plug and threw some dielectric grease in it - still no tcc action.

Hmm.... Well Im trany stupid but when was your last trany service?
|
I've only had the truck a couple months, but was told it had a new tranny put it ~7,000 miles ago. I may just break down and get an AutoEnginuity...
|
AutoEnginuity is worth every penny. Hell in my shop I use it more on pickups than I use my $8K Nexiq on them. Live data on it is amazing. Cant do cylender cutouts is my only complaint. Honestly could be your TC tho but need somebody more qualified on trannies than me for that one
