Random dying issue

My truck has started randomly dieing. Sometimes come to a stop an itwill start idleing rough then die. Starts back up fine sometimes will die again. I can Rev it. Up after it dies an it'll be fine. An sometimes during normal driving petal becomes UN responsive. Hpop has 4999 psi at idle. An climbs in rpms. i hooked my scan tool to my an happened to check the codes.. Does not have a check engine light but has 11 codes. I know the po238(boost sensor a to hi) was from over boost( fixed that with regulator) an the p01249 (wastegate control valve performance) is from the turbo being non wastgated an the plug/vaccum hoses being gone. an the p0541(intake air heater) its deleted) But still has p0232 fuel pump secondary circuit high, p1209, P1210, P1211 INJ control pressure system, P0471 exhaust pressure sensor circuit performance,P0475 exhaust pressure control valve fault, P0340 CPS circuit, and P0743 TCC system electrical fault. .. Happened to have the data up on my scan tool when the pedal went dead an idle dropped an inj control psi jumped to 20750, The truck has seemed to been weaker then normal lately but never get drove much. My mods are ccv, ebpv deleted,TC lock up switch, boost, pyro, egt, an fuel psi gauges, In tank mods done, fass 150 55psi, fuel tank sump, regulated return, fuel bowl delete, intake heater delete, garret 38r with non wastegated 1.15 back housing, 4" exhaust, 6637 intake, TS 6pos

Sounds like a CPS failure.

i dont think the cps has anything to do with the injector control pressure

Like you pointed out most of your DTC's are mod related. The injection pressure ones seem to be leading towards a HPO problem, be it a ICP, IPR, or pump. Lope at idle is too much HPO pressure, could be a sticky IPR but when you are getting those random PSI readings that are WAY beyond wats possible I wonder about your ICP sensor. Should pull the plug and see if theres oil pushing through it. IPR's are a pain in the a** to diagnose but usually have symptoms like this. I'd warm the truck up and try a hot start reading live data and see what your IPR duty cycle % is. Under 20% is okish, over 30% and you have pump issues.

Mine did exact same thing. It started to die more and more often. If I was a betting man I would say it's your CPS. Replaced mine and never had the problem again.

Id kinda lean towards injection but with that list of codes a CPS is a quick change test especially when ppl have seen these symptoms but normally they cause cut outs/ kills and not a lose of power. Injection codes are whats throwin me for a loop

Ok guys new info I changed my icp sensor an it did nothing, I changed the scan tool setting from kpa to psi an it now reads 725 psi at idle an about 1100 psi at 2000 rpms. It now has like a dead miss/lope shakes. And only has p1210 an p1211 codes now. But if you hook the scan tool up to the truck while running an try clearing the codes it kills truck

My truck is doing the EXACT same thing, I changed the cps and thats when I noticed the pedal going dead. MY truck has died/stalled over 30 times in a day but then not again for weeks, I too notice a shake or lope right before it dies most times, it also will almost die but then catch its self and start running again but most times it still just stalls right out. Mine will throw a code once in a while (check engine soon light) but it goes away once the key is turned off and then back on. Only a few times has it not wanted to restart, like I try restarting it over a dozen times and it just cranks without fireing. Thats the other thing, when it dies, you cant just hit the starter again, you have to cycle the key back off then try to restart it, most times I dont even have to pull over to get it restarted, if you dont cycle the key it will just crank and crank and wont fire. The other noticable problem I have noticed is that sometimes it wont buld boost, you mash on it and it very very slowly picks up speed but has less than 5lbs boost,(no smoke at all) then after about 5 or 10 seconds the boost will pick up to where it should be and then the truck goes like a bat out of hell. I dont know what I should about these trucks but if what I think is correct it seems like the waste gate is getting stuck in the closed position and the truck cant breathe, then when it opens the truck hauls ass, but then again the exhaust that is getting through should be black as coal, but it never smokes other than just a tiny bit when accelerating hard, when it seems to be running right. Not sure if this helps at all but........

Icp sensor is new. Ipr was replaced with a known good one. Still getting 1210 an 1211 codes. Does that mean hpop

Tried unplugging the icp sensor other day an it fixed the dien an restarting issue, Also noticed an oil leak at either the hpop or the hpo lines.???
