tires?

i currently have bfgs on my truck i love em but they are expensive and a soft tire i rotate my tires every 4k miles any other good tires that wear like iron? i could care less how they ride as long as they dont travel all over the road. i heard general tires are good never used em before im just trying to get my moneys worth out of a set of tires

prefer made in america tires

not that you are looking for something in the M/T side of things but ive got a set of interco SSm16's on my truck and have close to 40K on the front and 30k on the rear and love them. they are loud and since i have them in 37x13.5r18s they have some sidewall flex but all around they are a good tire. only problem ive found is if you do 85+ for an extended period of time (30 min or so) they will start to separate (or atleast they do on my truck)

separate? i do alot of offroad on the weekends and drive to work on the highway 30 min i need a on road n off road tire i want something agressive for mudd n dirt ect ive heard good things about m/t but i allso see em melt quickly

the coopers i have do great in mud. IMO. when i first got them i had to test them out. i was pushing mud with my axle.

The on/off road crowd (those who use their 4x4s both on and off the road) swear by Toyo Open Country M/T and A/T. That seems to be one of the go-to tires for them. I had some Toyo H/Ts on my old F250 and they were great. I replaced them with Firestone Steeltex AS and loved them as well, but pretty pathetic in snow and mud.

My current E350 has Primewell HTs on it now. That was the off-brand that Firestone sells. I don't like them. They don't excel at anything except being noisy and constantly cupping. My alignment is good, and all four tires are cupping exactly the same regardless of rotation. That was my second excursion into off-brand tires and hated them both.

I had Mickey Thompson MTZ 35's on my 96. 9K miles and they lost 1MM off the tread. With the bumper on the front weighing in at 1,200lbs by itself, I thought that was great. I wanted them for my 99, but am trying the Fierce Attitudes by Kelly. So far, so good.
