It would take alot of mods to take a sr10 from a dig and even more to beat it from a roll.

Well in sled pulling...the 7.3.....

JON 08-02-2007 08:41 PM

!

My truck is in the low 15's. An SRT 10 runs mid 13's. But I can smoke the hell out of a hemi!

Mr.Ree 04-07-2008 11:27 AM

He's obviously not talking stock for stock. Unless he is challenged.

An SRT-10 truck stock will run low 14's. Absolutely. A 4x4 7.3 with I/E/chip/injectors can take it down.

Diesel Dawgs Performance 04-07-2008 12:19 PM

I still believe the SRT10 would win.

HOTMOPR 04-07-2008 12:27 PM

SRT 10s are 12 second trucks if they hook up.. Problem is most yuppies buy them take them to the drag strip and think you just floor it and dump the clutch. The auto Quad cabs are detuned to save the trans..

Saw An SRT8 At The Track Yesterday - Guy Couldn't Split 13.5 To Save His Life.

I Agree With HOTMOPR - SRT10 Should Be A 12 Second Truck If They Can Get A Good Launch, and Their 60' Time Should Be Spectacular.

HOTMOPR 04-07-2008 12:47 PM

Yep, I have seen it in person 3 rd gear launch at 4500 rpms.

Mr.Ree 04-08-2008 02:44 PM

show me a bone stock srt-10 truck in the 12's......................

THANK YOU.

I Will Give You The Benefit of The Doubt Here.. Yet It Is Quite Possible For A Stock SRT-10 To Clock A High 12..

This Is Coming From My Buddy That Knows Way To Much About The SRT Rams Than Any Sane Man Should

A stock SRT will not do a 1.8 60 without DRs

It is rare to see a stock RC SRT hit 12s (Although it has happened), they average low to mid 13s, of course depending on elevation and driver.

You Tube It - I Don't Have Any Vid Sitting Around of An SRT-10.

There are two that run at bremerton dragstrip here in wa. One black one red both are standard cab 6 speed trucks. The black one has borla muffs on it and it is stock other than that it ran a 12:70 something and the red one is all stock and it ran a 12:90 something.. Bremerton is at sea level too.
