Upper Console Message Center

Tryin to figure out why my upper console message center would have quit working. Owners manual does not have a specific fuse location for this feature. F-250 2002 7.3. Quirky little problem but I try to eliminate items on laundry list whenever I get bored! It's nice to know which direction I am going, ya know! Thanks for any suggestions!

that display is on fuse No. 19. but if that fuse was blown you would have no throttle response. those screens will randomly go out.

Thanks. I checked the 19th hole and it looks fine, also says in the book that fuse is for "Body Security Module/4x4 module". Not sure that this the same fuse you had mentioned above. Screens are definitely OUT!:humm:

Powerstrokin02 check that post, those overhead computers have a problem with the resistors after awhile will come lose and to fix them all u will have to do is resolder them back in to place and wham bam thank you mama it works again but if there is a different problem search on ebay for ford overhead computer there is a company that will fix for around 30 bucks good luck

Be careful when u take the cover and holder off because if a resistor did come lose then it will be sitting in the black holder and the r really small and hard to find if they fall. I got luck because i have tan carpet, but if u or ur buddy has dark carpet good luck is all i can say.

Loc24, thanks for the reply! Not sure exactly what you mean by "check that post" or where the resistors are exactly. I guess I will try to research more about ford overhead computers.:igive:
