More Power for my 99 F350?

I've recently acquired a 99 F350 & would like to add a bit more power, what can I do in order to get a bit more bang for my buck? Also what should I do, in what order (this is my new workhorse plus daily driver)? Or if theres another thread you guys could direct me to that already has it laid out that would be appreciated as well.

First you need to figure out what you use it for? Do you haul trailers frequently? If so how heavy? Also need a little more info on truck like auto or manual trans? Everything stock? I have a late 1999, first thing I did before any performance mods was replaced 4x4 hub seals, and checked that it worked properly. Then I change my oil and filter fuel filter and diy 6637 mod, gauges after that most important at least boost, pyrometer, and trans temp. If you have auto trans, and then a ts 6 position chip custom tuned, there are many vendors who do that php, Tony wildman, swamps, alligator, hope this hopes.

I have a manual 5 speed & the exhaust was redone back in January to open it open & allow it to breath better, as well as the catalytic converter being scrapped then (no emissions check here).

I haul metal (steel, bronze, iron, aluminium, etc) but not with a trailer (on occasion I have use a trailer to move sculpture that ranges in weight from 800lbs to a ton but not too often). 4x4 works great, already had the oil changed along with the oil filter & fuel filter. Whats the DIY 6637 mod? I see that gauges to monitor the turbo, trans tempt & pyrometer (what exactly does that monitor?) are the "at the least" but what all should I go with to ensure that my truck continues to stay on the regular & perform as it should. A cat named Luke hollared at me from Diesel Dawgs about the TS 6 pos chip already.

Sorry to ask a bunch of questions & sound like a complete newb but theres a lot more to this truck than my '94 F250 (she was/is kind of bare bones), thanks for any help in the right direction though.

The 6637 us the napa part number for the air filter mod everyone does, to let the motor breathe more. Since you have a manual trans. You would only need a pyrometer gauge or exhaust gas temperature, and boost pressure from turbo, you could put a fuel pressure Gauge in for the trans temp gauge. If It were me I'd do what I mentioned in last post. Air filter, gauges then chip, these things will help with overall performance, well the gauges will monitor it vitals of the truck. if it's just a daily driver and you don't haul trailers just stick with the basics.
