storing for the winter?
 
I have to park my truck for the winter is there anything special i have to do to it ? Do i add fuel stabilizer ? Can i leave it plugged in the whole time im gone ? Thanks for the info.

Diesel fuel doesn't need stabilizer like gas but a biocide to keep growth in check is a good idea. If your antifreeze is up to par it would just be a waste of electricity to keep the heater plugged in.

Fill it up, top off the tanks so there is little if any air in them.

If you can, have someone start it once or twice a month to keep the batterys charged and oil moving.

Buy a trickle charger for the batteries? Use them here and there for a couple of bikes I don't drive that often.
